Valentines Vingette

Today I am excited to show you some Valentines Ideas. I am excited for two reasons. I LOVE to decorate, and I am also excited because these pictures I took last year and was not able to share them with you. It sure came in handy because we have had a week of sickness in our house and I haven’t had the energy to do anything. I have been wanting to, so I do have some more ideas coming your way! For now enjoy this trip down memory lane.

I had so much fun making the button frame above. I found an ornate picture frame and painted it white and then used some gold rub and buff to bring out the detail of the roses. I covered the cardboard insert with some scrap velvet, turned on the glue gun and opened my button box and had fun making this heart. I did use a heart shaped cookie cutter to make my shape. I think it turned out great!

This was my entry way table decorated for the holiday of love. I found the Angels on Christmas clearance. I made the wooden blocks and the vase is filled with hearts I found at the dollar store. The picture I made with scrap book paper. It was relaxing to put that all together. It was also fun to sprinkle conversation hearts around.

I made this great moss wreath out of empty wrapping paper tubes. For the tutorial go here

I put these sweet little decorations together for the guest bath. Gather anything pink, red and sparkly to help your home celebrate Valentines day.
