Carnegie Hall!

I haven’t been around lately and I wanted to share with you the reason why (and to brag a little bit)
This last week I was privileged to go with my oldest daughter and her High School Orchestra to New York City to see them perform at
I still am in awe that they had this opportunity. They were selected out of hundreds of Orchestra’s across the country for this opportunity. Our Orchestra is amazing. There were 3 other groups performing that night. The Orchestra before us was amazing, but when they were setting up for our High School they had to bring out stacks and stacks of chairs because we had so many members come. An impressive feat from a small, East Tennessee Town. It was wonderful and they sounded FABULOUS. I must admit I was teary the whole time I was watching, thinking that my little girl is playing on the main stage of Carnegie Hall. What a treat and an experience I will NEVER forget!

The amazing Brooklyn bridge.

We also saw WICKED on Broadway. If you haven’t seen it yet, find an opportunity to go. I was very impressed. I am ready to see it again.
