We love holidays in our home. It is fun to celebrate together, put up pretty decorations and fix yummy food. I always like to make a fun themed treat for the holiday with the kids. This year we used SUPER Snack Pack pudding cups to make a fun carrot patch.
While on a trip to Walmart I discovered these SUPER Snack Pack Pudding cups that would be just right to plant my carrot patch in. I also picked up some other supplies to make this treat super cute!
My first step was to make my carrots. With a carrot cookie cutter I cut out several carrot shapes from a tortilla. Then I brushed on some melted Blue Bonnet Margarine and sprinkled them with orange and green colored sugar. I put them in a preheated 400º oven for 4-5 minutes, just until crispy.
Next, I made 4 sale signs by cutting Honey Maid Graham Crackers to size. Then with melted chocolate chips I wrote the letters on the sign board and attached the sign board to the graham cracker pole with a dab of melted chocolate.
Now it is time plant the carrot patch. The SUPER Snack Pack Pudding Cups have a new easy to open lid which make it quick to start creating. I crushed up some vanilla Oreo’s to make the freshly turned earth, and sprinkled them over the pudding.
Carefully insert your 4 sale sign and the carrot into the pudding and viola you have a super cute SUPER Pudding Pack Carrot patch! My kids loved these and couldn’t wait to get their hands on them! In fact, they have also come up with some ideas for some Snack Pack Mix-in ideas of their own. On the way to school this morning, my son was asking my if I had more pudding cups, and if I did, could he use one to make up a bunny hole pudding cup treat after school with his friends.
