Corn Maze & Pumpkin Patch at Oakes Farm

My family was given complimentary admission to the Farm.  However, all opinions are my ownoakes farm 2015 13

It is October which means it is time for our annual trip to the pumpkin patch to enjoy the corn maze and pick the best pumpkins we can find.  This year we had an absolutely gorgeous day to enjoy the  Corn Maze & Pumpkin Patch at Oakes Farm in Corryton, TN.  This is our favorite pumpkin patch to visit because it never disappoints and there are a lot of activities to enjoy.

oakes farm 2015 5Our first stop was the corn maze which has the theme of “It’s Football time in Tennessee!”  I think this is my favorite design yet.  While the corn wasn’t as high this year (thanks to mother nature), it was still high enough to give us over an hour of fun exploring.

There are also 12 different checkpoints listed on the map for you to find as well.  You can choose either or both.  Whatever you would like to do.  We choose to do both while we were at it.oakes farm 2015 9

This year we stopped and enjoyed a fun game of corn hole after our adventure in the corn maze.  (I’m not exactly sure who won!)

The rat racers are a must stop.  My kids keep getting taller, but they still love to race in the tubes!

oakes farm 2015 11After enjoying some of the other 25 activities at the farm, we rounded out our day with a hayride to the pumpkin patch.  My kids always race around to find the biggest and the best pumpkin in their eyes.  They rode back in the wagon with smiles on there faces holding their treasures.
