14 Last Minute Valentine’s Ideas

Valentine’s day will be quickly upon us, so I have been looking for some fun and easy ideas to help celebrate the day.  For some reason when I decorate or craft I always get in the mood to do so just a few days before the holiday.  This means the craft stores are usually out of everything I want to do and get left feeling frustrated.  I hope this round-up of 14 Last Minute Valentine’s Ideas will help give you some inspiration on how you want to celebrate and decorate for the day.  For me I like to keep it pretty simple with a few decorations and easy valentines for the kids.  My husband and I usually go out, but we keep that fairly simple too.  The main focus is to just spend time together.  This year though we have been given tickets to a Valentine’s gala, so it looks like I will have find some fancy clothes to get all dressed up in.  Sounds kinda fun!

The Hubby and I are going out to a restaurant for the first time in all our 24 years together. We don’t have kids, so we go light on any Valentines decorations. We joke that around our house it’s always Christmas or Valentines anyway. But going out this year sounds like fun. Enjoy your gala and doing the dress-up thing. Always fun to push the envelope! :)

I really love the post-it note frame. MY husband and I work opposite shifts so we rarely see each other during the week, a few months ago we started leaving messages on post-it notes on the bathroom mirror. The frame seems way classier ;-)
