Easy 3 Bean Crockpot Chili

With 3 beans to add great flavor this meal is wonderful to serve on a crisp cool day

With the weather turning cooler easy 3 bean crockpot chili becomes one of our favorite meals.  It is so easy to make and so good to eat.  I love that I can throw it together in the morning and have it cooking in the slow-cooker all day to develop a wonderful flavor.

We love to serve ours with corn chips, sour cream and cheese.  This is one of my favorite meals to fix on an Saturday also.  I throw it together in the morning, we go out and enjoy some fun in the mountains and then come home to a nice hot meal that is ready to eat.

crockpot chili 2Another great thing about this recipe is that I can have all the ingredients on hand in the pantry or freezer so I know I can make it whenever I get the urge. I usually make it with ground turkey, but you can substitute ground beef if you prefer.  I hope you enjoy this favorite meal of our family this Fall.

Easy 3 Bean Crockpot Chili


  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1 large onion diced
  • 1 28 oz can crushed tomatoes
  • 1 15 oz can black beans drained & rinsed
  • 1 15 oz can white beans drained & rinsed
  • 1 15 oz can pinot beans drained & rinsed
  • 2 pkg chili seasoning
  • Corn chips
  • Sour Cream
  • shredded cheese


  1. brown turkey and onions in a frying pan, drain
  2. Place in a slow cooker
  3. Add tomatoes, beans and seasoning
  4. mix well
  5. Cook on low for 5-6 hours
  6. Serve with corn chips and top with sour cream and cheese
