Just 3 ingredients to make this delicious dip which is wonderful on top of a RITZ Cracker & fresh fruit
3 ingredients are all you need to make this incredible cracker dip. Add fresh fruit and it is divine!

RITZ cracker dip 3February is upon us and that means the Big Football game is just days away!  I love game day food, don’t you? It is so fun to think up a menu that is fun and tasty to eat and fits well with the game.  It’s also a great excuse to spend time with your family, enjoy the game and have some delicious food.

RITZ cracker dip store collageWhile doing some shopping at Walmart this week I realized that if I had some delicious RITZ Crackers and Coke Zero on hand it would be easy to throw together some great game day snacks. This year I wanted to create a recipe that was a little lighter and could incorporate some fresh fruit, so I came up with an easy chocolate cream dip recipe that pairs perfectly with fresh fruit and a RITZ Cracker.  It has that wonderful sweet/salty flavor that I love.

RITZ cracker dip

For the Chocolate Cream Dip you will need:

1 box Instant Chocolate pudding (4-serving size)

1 cup cold milk

8 oz Neufchatel Cream Cheese (softened)

In a stand mixer mix together the milk and pudding mix.  Mix until combined and thickened.  Add the cream cheese.  Mix until well blended.  Serve on top of RITZ Crackers with your choice of sliced fresh fruit.

RITZ cracker dip 6 I love this recipe because you can use any flavor pudding mix you would like.  I love chocolate with the fresh fruit.  It is such a wonderful flavor, but strawberry pudding would work well too.  For the fruit I used blackberries, sliced kiwi, sliced strawberries and sliced bananas.

After trying both the strawberry and chocolate dip I can’t decide which one is my favorite.  The strawberry has a lighter flavor that also goes wonderful with the fruit and RITZ Crackers.

I splashed the banana slices with some lemon juice to keep them from browning.  Arrange the fruit and RITZ Crackers on a platter and now you are ready to add the chocolate cream dip to your game day spread.  I placed mine in a football shaped bowl and added cream cheese laces to it.  Your guests can dip their RITZ Crackers into the dip, or spoon it on top of the cracker and add a slice of fresh fruit plus enjoy an ice cold Coke Zero as well.

I love that this recipe uses fresh fruit.  In the middle of winter it is wonderful to see all the beautiful, vibrant colors of strawberries, kiwi, blackberries and bananas.  It sure brightens my mood.

RITZ cracker dip 8I hope you will enjoy this delicious chocolate cream dip with your family.  I know we will!  And I hope your team wins this game day!
