cranberry bars

Ah November, the season of cranberries.  They have such a wonderful tart flavor and when mixed with a little sugar they taste incredible.  Add in some cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves and the flavor is amazing!  There are so many things that you can do with cranberries besides your typical cranberry sauce on Thanksgiving.  These colorful cranberry bars are a wonderful dessert.  The recipe calls for using cans of whole berry cranberry sauce, so this is one cranberry recipe you can enjoy all year long.  They also freeze well, so if you have leftovers, just pop them in the freezer to enjoy later!
