Recently my husband and I were finally able to take a weekend trip away to visit Dollywood’s DreamMore Resort. It is a quick hour drive for us, but when we pulled up I knew that I was visiting some place special. As soon as we stopped our car to check-in there was a bellhop helping us with our bags that were taken directly to our room.
Oh and what a room. The detail and the comfort were amazing. We reserved a King room so there was a comfortable sofa to enjoy as well. Plus we had a great view of the pool and fire pit areas. Off in the distance we could also see some of the slides of Splash Country. I could have just stayed in the room and enjoyed relaxing but there was so much more to see.
The lobby boasts two fabulous fireplaces with lots of chairs and tables to gather friends and family around. There are also board games that you can pull out for a little friendly competition.
The grand staircase was enchanting with this fun little nook. Who wouldn’t want to curl up with a good book under these stairs! Just past this little nook is the entry to their wonderful Hearth & Song Restaurant.
We were there for the breakfast buffet which was phenomenal! Everywhere you turned there were different stations of food. It seemed endless and delicious and like you were stepping into grandma’s kitchen.
What I love about DreamMore is that the resort is geared towards families and large gatherings. So they have lots of seating available to accommodate a big groups. Don’t you just want to settle down to this table and enjoy lots of good food and company!
DreamMore Resort has so much to do on-site. There is a Spa, boutique shopping, game room for the kids, indoor and outdoor pools, corn hole, fire pit and s’mores offered every evening.
Along with all these wonderful things to experience at the resort DreamMore also offers free door to door transportation to the Dollywood parks, early Saturday entry and my favorite is the complimentary time saver pass for all guests!
From the hospitality to the ease of getting to the Dollywood parks and everything in between Dollywood’s DreamMore resort is a place my family will definitely be visiting again.
My family loves all things Dollywood. Check out the posts below for more reasons why we love each one.
