A recent read of mine was Sweet Olive written by Judy Christie. This is sweet story about Camille Gardner who comes to a small Louisiana town for her big corporate job. This is her last assignment before she heads onto her dream job at an art gallery. Along the way she makes friends with the people her big oil company is fighting against. Plus, falls in love with their lead attorney. Needless to say this leads her to question what she really wants out of life.
I enjoyed reading this book. It was engaging and intriguing with a great feel good mood. It is a light read without getting too deep into the characters. While reading books, I always enjoy getting to know facts and history about an area and Judy Christie does a great job of introducing you to small town Louisiana. I liked being able to learn more about Louisiana and the oil business.
