Four Weddings and a Kiss is 4 short stories written by 4 authors: Magaret Brownley, Debra Clopton, Mary Connealy, and Robin Lee Hatcher. Each story is set in the old West and has a feel good story line.
I enjoyed reading this book. When I first ordered it, I didn’t realize that I would be reading 4 different stories so I was a little surprised. There is a short prologue and epilogue that I found a little confusing. I think it is supposed to set up and tie together the 4 stories, but I wasn’t necessarily a fan of it. While the stories were predictable, especially from reading the title, I found them enjoyable to read. Each author has a talent for writing and drawing you into their stories. I haven’t read many books that were arranged like this one, with 4 different tales, by 4 different authors. I thoroughly enjoyed it though. It is a great way to get to know new authors to see if you like them. This would also be a great book club book. There are some great discussion questions already prepared in the back of the book.
All together a thoroughly enjoyable read.
