Giving the gift of cookies at Christmas time is one of my favorite things to do. I have several old family recipes that I always make such as my mom’s ginger cookies or Snicker’s fudge bites. But every once in a while I like to mix things up and try something different that I don’t usually make. These Cocoa Crinkles are a fun cookie to make a giveaway. The powdered sugar makes them look like they are snow kissed and the flavor is amazing.
Every year my family hosts a caroling party where we invite friends over to go Christmas caroling around our neighborhood. I make up batches of cookies to share with the neighbors and some to enjoy after we sing with our homemade Hot Cocoa. These Cocoa Crinkles made their debut at last year’s party and were loved by all who tried them. Make someone happy and bake them a batch of Cocoa Crinkles this year. The dough does have to chill for a couple of hours, so be sure to plan accordingly. The printable recipe is below, so you can print it out and enjoy it for years to come.
I also have a recipe for Cupid Crinkles you can enjoy for Valentines day!
