My family was given admission to Oakes Farm. However, all opinions are my own.
Does your family love visiting Pumpkin Patches and Corn Mazes like my family does? Oakes Farm in Corryton, TN has become an annual family tradition for us. There is so much to do at the farm that you can play the day away and enjoy every minute. My favorite thing about all the activities is that it is an all-inclusive ticket for all the activities. There are over 25 fun activities and the admission ticket is only $11.95 for 11 yrs and up, $9.95 for ages 3-10 and kids ages 2 and under are free. If you would like to take a pumpkin home it is an additional $5.50.
The first place my son likes to go to is the hayride to the pumpkin patch to pick out our jack-o-lanterns. The hayride heads into the woods and then re-emerges at the pumpkin patch with lots of glorious choices. It is always so hard to choose, but every year we come home with the best pumpkin.
The next place we head is the corn maze. Oakes Farm offers 3 corn maze choices and they are all awesome! One is a kiddie maze. Another maze has checkpoints #1-6 that you can find. The third maze has checkpoints #7-12 in addition to our favorite farm scene investigation mystery.
The farm scene investigation has checkpoints where you eliminate suspects in who took Farmer Joe. Our family usually splits into teams to see who can find out who did it first. It’s always a challenge and it is always fun.
Another must do activity is the pedal carts. I so appreciate that Oakes Farm provides so many activities that adults and teenagers can participate in. These pedal carts are fun to race around the track and give you a great workout to boot. There is also a separate jr. speedway for the younger kids.
Oakes Farm has added a new attraction this year~ Ball Zone. We loved testing our skills at throwing baseball, footballs and basketballs. Another great activity for some friendly family competition.
The jumping pillow creates giggles, fun and lots of high bounces.
There are also lots of cute pumpkin displays, pumpkins for sale and some home decor and souvenirs as well. If you get hungry there is the Farmer’s grill which offers hamburgers, hot dogs, drinks and more. Pappy’s Southern Fixin’s which has chicken tenders, beans and cornbread and other wonderful southern dishes. If you want something sweet then a visit to Grammy’s sweets and treats will fix you up.
If you are in East Tennessee then you need to put Oakes Farm on your list of places to visit. Take a minute to look through all of their attractions and figure out which one will be your favorite.
