I love a quick and easy meal. Especially for days when we are on the go all day long. One of our family’s favorite meals is this 3-ingredient baked ziti. My mom made it for us when I was growing up and now it is a staple in my own home. I like to keep mine meatless for a good vegetarian meal option. I also keep all the ingredients on hand so I know I can always have a quick hearty meal.
It is so quick to make. When I am in more of a rush and haven’t had time to plan ahead, I just make it on the stovetop instead of taking the time to bake it. AI first start off and boil a box of Ziti for 7 minutes. (To make it on the stove top I simply put all the ingredients in the pot after I have drained the pasta and heat it up)
After draining the pasta I add a jar of Ragu Homestyle Pasta sauce and 2 cups of mozzarella cheese. The new Ragu Homestyle pasta sauces are simmered in tradition and are the thickest pasta sauces Ragu has made. There are 5 flavors of sauces and none of them have any high fructose corn syrup or artificial flavors or colors making them perfect to use in this dish.
Stir everything together, cover it and then pop it in the oven at 350 for about 40 minutes. Baking it really brings out the flavors of all the ingredients. Then serve with a slice of garlic bread and roasted broccoli. A perfect quick meal for any day.
