Welcome to Creative Southern Home
My name is Kallee and I have been married to my sweetheart Chris for over 25 years. We are the parents of 4 talented and really fun kids, three girls and a boy. I was born in Utah, but raised all over the United States. I have called Illinois, Tennessee, New York, Mississippi, Texas and now Tennessee again home. I have lived in the South for 30 years and love every bit of if. (Well maybe not the humidity)

Family is the most important thing in my life. I have been a stay at home mom since my oldest was born. Making a house a home has been my passion. I love being with my family and talking around the dinner table. Or maybe we are laughing and playing games, or going a road trip adventure. My family is my strength.

2011
In almost 25 years of being married and raising a family I have made bread that looks, feels and (maybe) tastes like a rock. Baked thousands of chocolate chips cookies, at least a batch a week. Tried recipes that have failed to impress my family and lots of others that have been declared instant “keepers”. My craft room stays messy with all the projects I have in process. Now that the kids are older I hope to find more time to create. I have also planned family vacations on a shoe string budget. These family adventures have provided us so many great memories that we love to talk about.

2016
I have found in my life that simplicity is key. I want to inspire you to live your best life without feeling overwhelmed. Through all the ups and downs, tears, laughter and successes I have learned some tips to create simple meals to keep the family and Mama happy. I have discovered ways to plan family vacations with activities that can appeal to a broad age range and still stay in a budget. I have also discovered that while I enjoy celebrating Holidays and events, keeping the planning simple is best.
I hope you enjoy what I have to share.
♥♥♥ Kallee
