I thought I would share with you the product my 2ND grader made for her Market Day project. We did cupcake sprinkle bottle cap jewelry. I saw this idea over at THE GIRL CREATIVE. It was fun and pretty easy. I ordered some blank bottle caps off the Internet, took my stash of sprinkles from the cupboard and got to work.
We made rings, necklaces, hair clips and magnets. The magnets were by far the easiest to do. I used E-6000 glue to glue everything. I couldn’t find any ring blanks for the rings so we used a package of the gold rings you find in the wedding supply row. They turned out cute, but were hard to glue. I glued washers on the back of the bottle caps to allow a place to put some ribbon through for necklaces, those were a little tough also. Blank hair clips from Hobby Lobby were pretty easy and fun. I don’t have close ups of anything but the magnets. You can see in the top photo everything we made for her booth. They were very popular at her sale, she sold all the jewelry and all but 7 of the magnets.
