FREE printable, bland calendars for you to customize. Plus tips to keep your organized. #ad #MyGo2Pen

This shop has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and its advertiser. All opinions are mine alone. #MyGo2Pen #CollectiveBiasG2 pens 7School has begun in these parts, so our house has been in a whirlwind of organization.  I have 4 kids in 4 different schools this year.  One is headed off to college, the next is a high school senior, one just starting Jr. High and one in intermediate school.  Whew, just thinking about it makes my head spin.  Over the years I have tried to find ways to keep everyone organized and knowing who should be where and when.  One way I have done so is with free printable calendars.

G2 pens store

The other day while shopping for school supplies at Walmart I spied these super cut Pilot G2 gel pens in an amazing array of choices.  I quickly picked some out and threw them in my cart because I knew these were just the thing to help keep our schedule organized.

G2 pens 9Each Sunday our family meets together for Family Council.  This is where we go through our weekly schedule so everyone knows what is going on and we can be as organized as possible.  To stay on top of things even more I have free printable calendars that I can customize with these great Pilot G2 pens.  I like to assign everyone a color, so at a glance it is easy to see who has what on which day.

G2 pens 12To help the process even more I made a quick and easy pen holder from a soup can.  This took less than 5 minutes and makes the fridge looks stylish and puts the pens where they are easy to grab and add something to the calendar.

G2 pens 13Simply wash out a soup can really well, then dry.  While you are washing let your glue gun be heating up.  Pick out some cute ribbon or fabric and measure how much you will need to go around the can.  Then attach with hot glue at the seam.  Always make your seam where the label of the can was glued on, sometimes it is hard to get all the glue off and you want your seam in the back anyway.  I chose to also embellish it with a lace bow with a button in the center.  The last step is to attach 2 strong magnets to the back above and below your ribbon with the hot glue.  Now you are good to go.  This is also a great tool to put in lockers.

G2 pens 11Now you are all ready to have an organized school year.  I chose to place my calendar on the refrigerator, but any where in your house will look cute.  By the way did you know that Pilot G2 pens are the #1 gel ink brand and they come in 15 vibrant colors and 4 point options.  There are multiple collections so you can choose pens to suit your personality and style plus the ink writes smoothly and they have a wonderful comfortable grip.

While you are getting organized here is a coupon you should take advantage of:

$0.75 on any ONE 4-pack (or larger) of G2 Gel Ink pens

I love the can magnet idea! I have a giant desk top calendar on our fridge and I use a different color pen for each family member, but I don’t have a handy place to store the pens. Great idea 🙂
