If you like this recipe for Hot Cocoa for a Crowd I know you will love these recipes too!
We have an annual tradition of a caroling party the Sunday before Christmas. We have several friends over and then sing Christmas carols to the neighbors and hand out treats. After the singing and treat giving is over, we head back home for hot cocoa and cookies. To make it easy on me, I fix the cocoa in the crockpot, so it will be ready the instant we come through the door. I have developed this hot cocoa for a crowd recipe and it is amazing. A deep, rich chocolate that isn’t too sweet and will make you want more. I like it because it is made from ingredients I usually have on hand, so I can whip it up whenever I want.
To make a festive hot cocoa bar, I wrapped the whipped cream cans in fun wrapping paper. It was quick and easy to do, and made the whole room feel more festive.
A hot chocolate bar is a great way to add fun food and drink to your parties. The kids loved getting their own cups of hot chocolate and dressing it up with whipped cream, mini-chocolate chips and marshmallows and mini-candy canes. Fun treats for a fun night.
