Oakes Farm Corryton, TN

October 14, 2016 By Kallee Leave a Comment

Thanks Oakes Farm for giving my family complimentary tickets!img_3389

We have a super fun annual tradition for October and that is visiting Oakes Farm Corryton, TN.  It is the best place to welcome fall in with a lot of fun and laughter.  There is so much to do at Oakes Farm that you can spend the whole day and not get bored!img_3383

We always like to play a round (or several) of corn hole.  This Saturday it was especially fun because they had the Tennessee football game playing on the radio.  The boys could play corn hole and listen to the game and be happy for a long time.img_3381

This year there was an incredible sunflower field.  Simply breathtaking.  We snapped several pictures at the end of our visit.img_3376This year we discovered a fun “search and find” activity.  There were several fun objects in this cage and you had to find the specified ones.

img_3368Carter enjoyed going through the spider web trying to not ring any bells.  I did hear a few chimes, but he claims it was just the wind.

The petting zoo is alway a must stop, see and feel.  This year they had a baby and Mama Llama.img_3351 The bounce pillow is probably my personal favorite.  This year I couldn’t jump because I had just injured my toe, but it was sure fun to watch my boys flying high.

img_3359Now for the two things that are at the top of the list every year.  The corn maze and pumpkin patch!  This year the corn was a little low because we have had such dry weather,  but it was super fun as always.  We love the Farm mystery challenge.

img_3350A visit to the pumpkin patch is probably the highlight for many of us.  There is a fun hayride to the patch and then you are free to choose which ever pumpkin you would like.  It is always a hard choice!img_3343If you are ever in the Knoxville, TN area and need some good fall family fun please schedule some time to visit Oakes Farm.
