To keep some of the Heavenly taste with us throughout the cold winter months, I peeled and cut up our extra peaches to freeze. Simply cut them up, spread them in one layer on a cookie sheet and pop them in the freezer for about 3 hours. Then carefully (the cookie sheet and the peaches will be COLD!) transfer the peaches to a freezer bag to enjoy later in pies, smoothies, or cobbler.
Last week the kids and I had a fun morning of picking peaches. They are so WONDERFUL, JUICY, and TASTY, so full of flavor your mouth hurts when you bite into them. There is nothing like eating a peach picked ripe from the tree. It is pure Heaven!
