Pumpkin Peach Cups~easy to make and a healthy Halloween treat.
I love the idea of a healthy treat alternative for Halloween, and I also love easy. Today I have just the project for you. Pumpkin Peach Cups. They are quick to put together and inexpensive to make.
Simply start with an individual plastic peach cup that you would use in a lunch box. I am always careful to look for the ingredients on fruit cups. Lots of them have added sugar in the juices. Choose one that is made with all natural juices and no added sugar.
With a black sharpie and your wonderful imagination, draw on a fun jack-o-lantern face. This is also a great activity to get the kids involved with. They can create their own fun jack-o-lantern’s each with their own personality. Pumpkin peach cups are great to serve at a class party and kids have a great time making them for their friends.
The stem is cut from green construction paper. Draw out a stem shape with a wide bottom. Tape the bottom of the stem to the top of the peach cup. Gently fold the stem to make it stand up. You can choose to keep your stems all the same shapes, or you can vary the shapes also. That is what is so fun about this making this treat. It is easy to do and you can let your creativity run wild.
That’s it, you are ready to go. These would be perfect to serve at a class party or slip in the kid’s lunches as a fun, yet healthy surprise. When I was putting these together, my kids were enchanted with them. That tells me they will be a big hit anywhere you serve them this Halloween.
