Homemade Pumpkin Spice Granola

Crunchy and full of pumpkin pie spice flavor. A homemade Granola sweetened with honey, molasses and chocked full a fall favorites like pecans, walnuts, pumpkin seeds and pumpkin puree.

  • 3 cups Old Fashioned Oats
  • 1/2 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1/2 cup pepitas (pumpkin seeds)
  • 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
  • 1 TBL cinnamon
  • 1 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp ground cloves
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 2 TBL molasses
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 cup canned pumpkin puree (not pumpkin pie filling)


  1. Pre-heat the oven to 300 degrees

  2. In a large bowl combine the oats, pecans, pepitas, walnuts, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves

  3. Stir well to combine everything, making sure the spices are well distributed

  4. In a medium bowl combine the wet ingredients: Honey, molasses, vanilla and pumpkin puree

  5. Whisk the wet ingredients together until well combined

  6. Pour the wet mixture over the dry and stir until all the dry ingredients are moist and everything is well combined

  7. Pour onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a silicon baking mat

  8. Bake for 45-60 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes.

  9. Bake the granola until it is browned to your preference

  10. Remove from the oven and stir in any dried fruit if you like

  11. Let cool to room temperature and store in an air tight container.
